Just got back from the Shaker show. It was definitely a special performance. Probably on e of the best I have seen, despite there being no microphones! Natalie just sang while at first standing in front of the audience, then as the show progressed she made her way around the room singing. She also had the musicians walk around the room with her while she sang. It was a bit hard at times to here her because there was not a microphone. Her voice sounded GREAT and STRONG!! One of the rules of the performance was that pictures could only be taken during the first 3 songs without flash, but because of the acoustics and sensitivity of noise in the room, Natalie didn't allow pics to be taken after the first 2 words she sang. I don't blame her. When she entered the room, through the back entrance, it was click click click click flash . It was very distracting. I knew she would put an end to that right away.
